OBJECTIVES

The Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery is a non-profit organization to encourage and promote all forms of scientific endeavors and research involving veterinary surgery, anaesthesiology, radiology and allied sub-disciplines. The society has the following objectives:

  • To promote and encourage education, research and training in veterinary surgery, anaesthesiology, radiology and allied sub-disciplines.
  • To provide a common platform to the members to present, and discuss scientific information obtained after research and clinical trials or analysis of personal experiences.
  • To organize conventions/conferences/seminars to share research, education and training activities.
  • To encourage and promote collaboration with the other professional bodies in India and other international associations for furthering the objectives of the society.
  • To develop and strengthen human resource in the discipline of veterinary surgery, anaesthesiology, radiology and allied sub-disciplines.
  • To establish the specialization system for veterinary surgery, anaesthesiology, radiology and allied sub-disciplines.
  • To strengthen our generation and dissemination of innovative knowledge in different areas of surgery, anaesthesiology, radiology and allied sub-disciplines.
  • To keep our long-lasting legacy of high-level achievement and excellence in different domains of surgery, anaesthesiology, radiology and allied sub-disciplines.
  • Any other cause which deem to be fit or appropriate for the welfare of animals.
