Since its inception in 1977, the Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery (ISVS) has stood on a strong edifice built by the enormous and continuous efforts of our senior surgeons, and sustained with magnanimity by its dedicated members.

As we step into 2026, the surgical landscape demands capsular and focused efforts to nurture and advance surgical specialities. This journey calls for commitment that goes beyond our comfort zones, requiring each member to contribute with vision, perseverance, and innovation.

I am confident that our collective determination will elevate ISVS to greater heights, strengthening the surgical fraternity of this country and alleviating animal suffering.
